Physical Activity Studies

Designed for students interested in promoting physical activity, sport and wellness.

The Physical Activity Studies program provides students with a diverse skill set that prepares them to work in a variety of health, sport, and physical-activity based professions: sport coaching, wellness, physical activity and sport-based youth development programs. Graduates work in a variety of setting like community organizations, park and recreation departments, fitness centers, assisted living and nursing homes, daycare, government and not for profit agencies, etc.

The degree program also serves as a springboard for future graduate study in health promotion, exercise science, sport management, public health and other public service careers.
