The community health promotion program emphasizes education as the primary factor for the promotion of health and the prevention of disease, and prepares students to meet the expanding need for health education professionals capable of working with the community in a variety of public, private, and professional settings.

Provides further specialization in the field of community health education. It is designed for students who already have a master’s degree in health studies. The program includes 19 credits of required courses and up to 9 credits in elective courses. The plan of study is determined on an individual basis.
